historic center of Granada.
The most recommended and practical way is to walk. You can enjoy the views and discover corners and buildings along the way that may not appear in any tourist guide.
If you are unable to walk long distances or ascend hills to reach the upper neighborhoods, such as Albaicín or the Sacromonte, the best option is to use a bus, or alternatively, you can take a taxi.
The metro does not reach the historic center and does not cover most of
Granada's tourist attractions.
How to use city buses?
There are several types of city buses: large and small minibuses designed for the narrow streets of Albaicín or Sacromonte. On all these buses, you can use the same transportation card (Credibus) and make free transfers from one line to another for 60 minutes.
Line 4 is a bit peculiar,
as it requires trip validation before boarding the bus at some stops.

depending on the destination.
For the towns in the south, the stops are at the Palacio de Congresos or Puente Blanco.
What is the best transportation option from Granada to other cities?
The most recommended option is to take long-distance buses to reach Malaga, Seville, Madrid, or other destinations. These buses depart from the Bus Station, located in the northern area of Granada.
It is also possible to arrive by train, although Granada has few rail connections.
Trains in Granada
Granada has rail connections with Almería, Seville, Malaga (passing through Antequera), Madrid and Barcelona. However, these are the only direct connections. It is not possible to travel by train to other cities without making transfers.

Bilbao, Madrid, Mallorca, Melilla, Gran Canaria, Oviedo and Tenerife.

What transportation should you use to go to the mountains or the beach?
You can reach the coastal towns, the Alpujarra or
the beach by Alsa company buses, from the
Granada Bus Station.

Opinions about Granada Public Transport
Neat little city
Being in Spanish 2 sucks, I got assigned this for a presentation that's due tomorrow, I meant to do it over the weekend but I was sick, and this website is like the ONLY place with information about this city.
You guys are saving my ass right now I would be so screwed if this wasn't here.
Only complaint is that some of the images are a bit low quality, but there isn't much that can be done about that. Still worth a 5 star review.
Difficult to understand the road sign
I've been Granada last Summer and I do love the place. However, since I don't quite understand Spanish and so it is a bit difficult to understand the road sign when I was driving. That's why I've got ticket.
