Vivac Restaurant in Sierra NevadaIt is a cozy and very quiet place located in the plaza of Pradollano, very different from other establiments in this area, is not a typical Spanish or Italian restaurant as most places in Sierra Nevada.
What differentiates the restaurant and makes it more attractive against its competitors is its innovative food, very carefully thought out decoration and good service.

La Muralla and La Muralla BurgerThere are two restaurants: La Muralla (translation: The Wall) and a few meters away La Muralla Burger.
La Muralla is a classic grill that offers excellent quality steaks. All kinds of preparations of grilled top quality meat. Extensive wine list. The staff is polite and welcoming.
The decoration is modern, has the outside heaters to keep you warm while dining outdoors in the winter.
If you are looking for a steak or similar, this is the place for you.

La Muralla Burger: Telephone: 958 650 080. It is the right place to go if you are looking for a tasty good quality burger. This restaurant somewhat cheaper than La Muralla. Specializes in delicious homemade hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, etc.
La Antorcha RestaurantIt is a cozy place with two floors where you will be received with the complimentary sausage tree appetiser on the table, a gift from the house to welcome you.
It has simple typical mountain decoration and style from the area, inn type.
Type of food and dishesTheir specialty is stone-based meats. You pick you meat (marinated pork or beef) and it is delivered to you on a hot stone to prepare yourself the way you like it. Fun experience.
Wear normal, t-shirt, etc. clothes as the hot stones create hight temperature in the restaurant and can leave a smell on your clothes.
Recommended dishes: stone-grilled beef tenderloin, chicken skewers, beef skewer with onions & peppers, winter salad.
The portions are abundant, children's dishes are also large.
Is it the Right Place for You?Great restaurant for meat lovers. There are some vegeterian options but this is mainly a meat restaurant, the dining room fills with smell, so if you are a vegetarian or vegan, this is probably not your place.

La Visera RestaurantGreat location overlooking the slopes, next to the Trevenco Apartments.
It has a terrace where you can seat outside and enjoy beautiful views over the mountains and the valley.
Has nice atmosphere with music outdoors. Sometimes there is live music and a DJ.
It is more a place where you can go for a drink with friends to rest after a day of ski, if you are looking for a special dinner probably is better to go to one of the above mentioned restaurants.
Type of food: the menu is very varied, offers salads, pizza, pasta, chicken and chips, sandwiches, burgers, nachos, etc.
Prices are a little bit cheaper than most of the other restaurants in Sierra Nevada.

Pizzeria Tito LuigiSmall pizza restaurant, very popular place, cosy and warm decoration, with a woodfired oven. Has open kitchen so you can watch the pizzas being made.
Good quality Italian food, selection of pizzas, pastas and drinks. You can also ask for a gluten free pizza.
Nice restaurant with family atmosphere, you can also sit outside with your kids. They also offer take-away food.
Prices: the menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Pizzas from 10 to 12 euros. Two pizzas and 2 beers will cost you arround 30 euros. 12-20 euros for meat dishes.

Clicquot Nevada TerraceIt has a lovely chill out terrace and a comfortable indoor sitting area, where they serve hot meals. Good place to have a comfortable rest, have some food and drinks.
Great views over the slopes, good music, sunny in the afternoon.
The restaurant has Gourmet hamburgers and daily specials, among many other dishes, various champagnes and cava's.
A bit expensive. Staff speakes english.

Restaurants On the Way To and From Sierra Nevada
If you have come to Sierra Nevada just to spend the day and you are not staying overnight at the ski resort, on the way back to Granada you will find some restaurants where you can stop for dinner.
Los Jamones RestaurantThis cozy restaurant has a large living room with fireplace. You can also eat outside in the sunshine when it's warm but usually it is too cold in winter and dining inside near the fireplace is a better option.
They serve traditional food, including soups, salads, meat dishes, pizza and pasta.
There is a wooden cabin at the parking where they offer offer ski and mountain equipment rental.
It is located about halfway heading towards Granada on A-395 road, just after Visitor Centre El Dornajo, by the side of the road on the left. Be very careful when you cross the road.
Reasonable prices: plato alpujareño 12 euros, pizzas 10 euros, salads 8-10 euros, beer 2,50 euros.

La Higuera RestaurantLa Higuera is located within 20 min of the Sierra Nevada. It is popular with locals because of its typical traditional food.
If you are comming from Sierra Nevada you will find it on the left after passing el Puente hostel.
It has a nice sunny terrace and a cozy dining room with a fireplace.
They have been serving local cuisine for many years.
Their typical dishes include charcoal-grilled meat and delicious homemade stews.
