Sierra Nevada Parking - Where to Park at the Ski Resort, Prices 2024/25 Season

There are five car parks in Sierra Nevada: 1. Car Park Plaza de Andalucía, 2. Car Park Los Peñones, 3. Car Park Las Sabinas, 4. Car Park for Caravans and 5. Car Park for Buses.


You can park on the streets of Pradollano; the price is 1 euro per hour, with a maximum parking time of 12 hours.


Parking anywhere else at the ski resort is not allowed. Some people park on the side of the road, but that's a bit risky, the car can be towed.

If you are staying in Sierra Nevada for a few days, also check whether your rented accommodation includes parking or offers discounts for a car park.

Plaza de Andalucía Car Park in Sierra Nevada

This car park is the first one you'll find when arriving to Sierra Nevada. It's right in the center of the ski resort, in Pradollano (Km 31).

This is the only underground car park in Sierra Nevada. With a capacity for 2,644 vehicles, it's the largest car park in Spain.

It has direct access to the ski pass ticket office and ski lifts.

This car park is controlled by security cameras 24 hours a day.

Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 24 hours a day.

This parking area has lifts and ten exits to Plaza de Andalucía (central square).

Parking Levels

The Plaza de Andalucía car park has four levels: Floor P-1 is reserved solely for parking space owners, P-2 is primarily for skiers with seasonal tickets, and P-3 and P-4 are available to the general public.

Prices, Parking Plaza de Andalucía, Year 2024/25

The parking costs vary based on the season: 2 euros per hour in low season, 2.20 euros in middle season, 2.35 euros in high season, and 2.40 euros in very high season.

Car Park Los Peñones in Sierra Nevada

This is an outdoor parking lot at the upper part of the station, near the Inturjoven Youth Hostel (Km 36).

It's open 24 hours every day, but supervision is available only from 8:00 to 18:00, Monday through Sunday.

Prices for Los Peñones, Year 2024/25

This parking area is more economical, costing 1.30 euros per hour or 13 euros per day. It has 750 parking spaces.

Access to the Ski Slopes

You can access the ski slopes directly via the Virgen de las Nieves ski lift and reach the center of the ski resort using the Parador ski lift.

To get to the parking area, follow the signs for 'Parking Peñones' (moving away from the Pradollano area).

Parking Las Sabinas in Sierra Nevada

This car park is located next to the Alto Rendimiento Centre (CAR), a bit further down from the previous one.

It has 513 parking spaces, and is the only area where camper vans or motorhomes are allowed.

Las Sabinas car park is open 24 hours every day, but it is supervised only during the high season from 8:00 to 18:00.

There is a nearby bus stop where you can catch Sierra Nevada buses to access the ski resort. More information is available in Sierra Nevada bus service.

Prices for Las Sabinas, Year 2024/25

The price is 13 euros per day. Camper vans or motorhomes are welcome here, but there are no water supply or electricity connections available.

Access to the ski slopes

This car park has direct access to the ski slopes by Virgen de las Nieves ski lift. To reach the parking area, follow the signs for 'Parking CAR'.

Parking for Buses in Sierra Nevada

This parking lot is located next to the Plaza de Andalucia car park (on the left). It is a small outdoor parking area for buses, with only 25 spaces available.

It is supervised and opens everyday 24 hours.

Buses picking up or dropping off passengers are granted a 30-minute free allowance.

Parking Prices

The cost is 34 euros per day or 5.67 euros per hour.
