Opinions about Pitres and Taha in the Alpujarra
Nature and tranquility
clasificacion de 5 estrellas
It's less known and way quieter than Pampaniera. It's for people who crave nature, tranquility, stunning views, and just want to escape the city hustle.

Pitres doesn't have a ton of stuff, but it's close to many charming villages in the Alpujarra, like Capilerilla or Mecina Fondales - really quaint and tiny. It's the perfect spot for hiking, biking, or horseback riding.
Fuente Agria fountain
clasificacion de 4 estrellas
It's a really nice place. You should try the water from the Fuente Agria fountain. It's like sparkling water but with a strong metallic taste. It's got medicinal properties.

Not everyone will enjoy it, but you should give it a try. There are four spouts, and each one has a different taste.

And don't forget to check out the nearby waterfall. It's got this reddish-brown color from the iron in the water, and it's surrounded by moss in this amazing setting.
