What is CrediBus?

This is a travel card or bus pass - a ticket with a magnetic strip allowing travel on Granada city buses.

Fares, Trips and Top Ups

7-trip Pass costs 5 euros, a 16-trip Pass 10 euros; a 33-trip Pass 20 euros, a Monthly Pass (Bono Mensual, with unlimited travel over 30 days) costs 35 euros.

If you buy 5, 10 or 20 euros travel card and want to top up the card, you can top up the card only by 5, 10 or 20 euros. But if you need 8 trips, you can buy 5 euro travel card (7 trips, 67 cents a trip) and 1 ordinary ticket 1,20 euros. Monthly travel card can be topped up only by 35 euros.

Deposit

A 2 euro deposit is payable when buying a CrediBus pass. The deposit is refunded if the traveller returns the pass in good condition at the original point of sale.

How to Use Travel Card

Balance

The credit balance on a CrediBus pass lowers every time it is used on any of Granada's urban buses.

Transfers

With a CrediBus you are entitled to make free transfers to other urban buses within 45 minutes of first boarding.

Validity

Valid for 5 years.

Where to Buy

You can buy or recharge a Travel Card (CrediBus) on Granada's buses and at kiosks and newsagents.

Faulty Travel Cards

If a travel card is faulty, the traveller may 1) return the travel card to the driver for repair and collection within 48 hours; 2) take the travel card to c/ Joaquin Costa 4 (between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday, Tel. 958 22 04 50) where it will be exchanged for a new travel card.

If the travel card is faulty but the reader can still read the balance, the traveller need not buy an ordinary travel card, as the fare will be deducted from the new (or repaired) travel card.

If the card is damaged, but the reader can read the balance: the traveler does not have to buy a regular ticket, the trip is deducted from the new card (or repaired).

You can get your money back on Joaquin Rober Coast 4 Street, Transportes Rober. It can be done the same day or it can take several days. But first you have to buy a new Bonobus (travel card) on any Granada city bus and pay the deposit of 2 euros.

If I buy the 16 trips at 10 euros and want to recharge to the travel card, can I buy in any amount or just 10 euros each time? Is it the same rule for 7-trip and 33-trip cards?
When you buy a travel card which is called Credibus, you pay 5, 10 or 20 euros but you can buy in any amount you want. It is the same rule for 5, 10 or 20 euros card.
